After a bad early season, it could get back to Serie A and played well due to the Paraguayan player, Attila Sallustro. He became a hero of the club. He was able to score goals and recorded the most goal notes in history. In 1933 – 1934, they only seed in the second position of the standings where they had great players. In 1942, Napoli had to play in Serie B.

With its big name, the club called Partenopei had to lose from the clubs competing in Serie A. It seems to be easily lost from smaller football clubs than giant clubs. That is why it can keep the prestige when it faces giant clubs in the top standings board like Lazio, Juventus, AC Milan, AS Roma, and Inter Milan. Fighting for Juventus, Napoli even could be one of three clubs beating the defending champion of Serie A in this season. The supporters and the public are still waiting for the stable performance of the Napoli Football Club.
